Just 45 km from Nagpur lies a fascinating mining site. The underground infotainment area spans a massive 4.71 square kilometers. A unique Man-Riding System awaits to transport you deep below the surface (entry restricted for children under 18). There’s no need for fear—experienced and qualified officials will accompany you as guides.

Engage with them to understand ongoing live mining operations explained in simple terms. In 2014–15, the mine produced 0.344 million tons of coal, with MAHAGENCO as the major consumer, thanks to the coal’s excellent quality for power generation. The region experiences temperatures ranging from 5°C to 48°C annually, with an average rainfall of 1050 mm.
