Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Tour Circuit organized on 13th & 14th April 2026 on the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti
A commendable initiative by the Directorate of Tourism on the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti Mumbai, April 6, 2026:
On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Directorate of Tourism under the Tourism Department of the Government of Maharashtra has organized the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Tour Circuit tour on 13th and 14th April 2026. This tour will be free of cost for tourists and followers visiting Mumbai, Nashik, and Nagpur. The main objective of this tour circuit is to spread awareness about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s great work, his life story, and his thoughts among people from all sections of society, especially the younger generation.
The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Tour Circuit in Mumbai includes Chaityabhoomi at Dadar, Rajgruha, Printing Press, B.I.T. Chawl at Parel, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College at Wadala, and Siddharth College at Fort. In Nashik, the tour includes Muktidham, Trirashmi Caves, and Kalaram Temple. In Nagpur, the tour includes Deekshabhoomi, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum, Dragon Palace at Kamptee, and Naglok Vihar.
Under this tour, special buses will be operated daily. Entry to the buses will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Free travel, tour guides, refreshments, and other facilities will be provided by the Directorate of Tourism for the tourists and followers participating in the tour. The Directorate has made proper arrangements for this tour, and it is expected to provide a meaningful and enriching experience to visitors.
