‘Mumbai Sanskriti’ is a movement, which enables citizens to look at their city's heritage and appreciate it. These buildings tell our story and we want it to remain alive for the future generations.
An initiative of the Indian Heritage Society- Mumbai (IHS), supported by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), managed by Shyamal Events- this festival would be held on the historic steps of the Asiatic library (also known as Town Hall), the city's oldest public building in the island city. With no entry fee, music lovers can watch the concert from the steps and chairs placed across the road under the open sky. The festival is an effort to increase awareness of the rich heritage of Mumbai using live music. It is sponsored by HSBC and TCS.
